The Toowong Cemetery otherwise called the Brisbane General Cemetery is situated on forty-four hectares of land at the edge of Frederick Street and Mount Coot-tha Road, 304 Birdwood Terrace, Toowong, 4066 QLD.

Set up in 1866, the Toowong Cemetery is a legacy recorded burial ground was officially opened in July 1875, and is a working graveyard.

The Toowong Cemetery is Queensland’s biggest graveyard with more than 119,000 individuals previously covered there.
